A New and Improved Tennis Venue for Veteran Park and the Greenburgh Community

Greenburgh Tennis Partners, LLC

An independently financed, $2.1 million 8-court public facility and clubhouse designed by one of the region’s top tennis/landscape architects.

About the company

Greenburgh Tennis Partners, LLC was founded in 2004 for the express purpose of developing an indoor tennis facility at Anthony F. Veteran Park in the Town of Greenburgh. Collectively, the individuals who comprise the company have over 40 years of experience in the tennis industry as well as over a decade in the real estate development field. Many Greenburgh residents who play tennis at Veteran Park will immediately recognize and appreciate the close involvement of tennis coach Jeffrey Scott, who for many years has run the successful ScottScoop tennis programs at area clubs. Mr. Scott is one of the principals in Greenburgh Tennis Partners, LLC.

At its core, Greenburgh Tennis Partners, LLC is an entity of tennis players, by tennis players, and for tennis players. From decades of on-court teaching experience to the entrepernerial and nitty gritty aspects of running a facility, the principals of the Company are uniquely qualified to develop, maintain, and program an indoor tennis club at Veteran Park.

The New Tennis Facility…

A $2.1 million, 8-court tennis venue and clubhouse (designed one of the region’s top tennis landscape architectural firms) that will allow for year-round indoor/outdoor tennis play on state-of-the art courts along with improved outdoor public space for spectator viewing.During the cold weather season, the courts would be bubbled and operated as a concession. After the indoor season ends the courts revert back to Parks and Recreation programming.

Design Team And Project approach

Recognizing that the project requires sensitivity to the use of public land, environmental concerns, and public process, we have assembled a highly experienced, multi-disciplinary design team to provide strong support for the proposed project.
